China Chat: Photographer JIngzi Zhao
In this second Creative Professionals China Chat, Jingzi Zhao will share examples of her photography of dance as she discusses her career with a camera.

Jingzi Zhao is the creator of the Fuse Project, a collaborative dance/photography project in which she photographs dancers on location in Portland at historic landmarks, neighborhoods, and representative businesses around the city.

Jingzi Zhao was born in Shanghai, lived and worked in four continents, and had a career as Senior Management Consultant at Capgemini and as Technology Program Manager at JP Morgan Chase in Chicago before coming to Oregon and establishing JIngzi Photography in 2006.

Jingzi Zhao was a grand prize finalist of the 2020-2021 Pas De Deux Dance Photography Competition. She has been featured in The Oregonian, Willamette Week, and Oregon Bride Magazine. Jingzi is the recipient of multiple project grants by the Regional Arts and Culture Council. Her photographs are featured in gallery exhibitions and acquisitions in Portland and Seattle.
