Summer is here, and the Chincoteague Island Family YMCA is preparing for a summer adventure full of extreme fun. We will be offering pre-school camp, sports and arts camps, adventure camp and traditional camp with exciting themes. Stop by the YMCA and we can show you all we have to offer.
The Chincoteague YMCA held its ribbon cutting ceremony on June 19 celebrating the completion of phase 1 of our capital development expansion project. With approval of the YMCA of the Chesapeake Board of Directors we have begun phase 2 of the project, which will include expansion or our group exercise and child watch rooms. During phase 2 we will still offer group exercise classes at various locations on the island. Go to our website for a full schedule of our classes. If you would like more information or like to donate to the capital campaign, please contact me or stop by the YMCA and I will give you a tour of our renovation project.
If you have family and friends visiting this summer, let them know we have daily, weekly and monthly passes so they keep up their health and wellness routines while on vacation. See you at the YMCA.
