5:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Rocket Launch of Undergraduate Student Experiments. The launch of the 44-foot tall rocket carries an array of projects. Some of those include a mix of technology and science experiments including developing spacecraft reentry and thermal protection systems, measuring cosmic rays and gathering organic molecules in space for DNA sequencing.
The backup launch dates are August 13 - 16.

Public Information Meetings on the Eastern Shore Force Main Sewer Transmission Line Project. The purpose is to inform the public about the Eastern Shore Sanitary Sewer Transmission Force Main Project. Phase 1 of this project will connect and serve the town of Nassawadox north to the town of Accomac and convey the wastewater to be treated at the existing wastewater treatment plant in the town of Onancock.
