Death by Chocolate presented by The Historic Main Street Merchants of Chincoteague. A FREE 2- Day Valentine Event! Join us for this popular, sweet-filled adventure on beautiful Chincoteague Island. Playing cards can be picked up at any participating business. Then visit each participating Main Street Merchant for a chocolate delight and playing card validation. Raffle giveaway and final event will be held at the Chincoteague Center. Prizes, food and chocolate will be there. Cub Scout Out of the World STEM Nova Day
The Boy Scouts of America, Del-Mar-Va Council will be hosting a Cub Scout STEM Day. During the event, Cub Scouts will have an opportunity to complete a portion of the Out of this World NOVA Award. The focus will be on achieving the requirements that are more difficult to do outside of a home or Den meeting setting.
The Visitor Center will provide a variety of hands-on activities through a series of STEM stations including a Mars Rover engineering design challenges using Rigamajig and the Imagination Playground, as well as other new, hands-on programs featuring Solar System science. Register

During this program students will get an overview of NASA's Wallops Flight Facility's Sounding Rocket Program Office. Students will explore laws of motion, rocket propulsion and more. Open to 5th grade (10 years old) to 8th grade (14 years old) students only.

Jenny Somers. Techniques on image transferring, spray painting, and painting with brushes will be taught. Students choose one of 2 images to paint and spend 4 sessions working on the same painting. Limit of 12. Cost is $140.
