Feb 2 - 4:00 p.m. Super Bowl Party.  The American Legion Post 159.  Open to all members, guests, & the public. The main dish will be provided by the Legion. We ask for those attending to bring a covered dish to share. Beer, wine, and mixers available for purchase, or bring your own spirits!

Feb 12 - 12:00 p.m.  Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce Networking Luncheon.  Held at Don's Seafood Restaurant, 4113 Main Street. Great opportunity to network among local businesses and organizations.  $10/person + tip.  Call Joanne at 757-336-6161 to  RSVP.

Feb 8 - 7:00 p.m. Mayor's Masked Ball .  Held at the Chincoteague Center.  
Featuring The Deloreans.  Tickets $50 in advance and can be purchased at the Town Office or Refuge Inn. Enjoy cocktail appetizers, cash bar and silent auction.   Proceeds benefit the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company.  Please arrive in a mask.

Feb 15 - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Death By Chocolate .  Sponsored by the Historic Main Street Merchants.   A FREE 2 DAY EVENT!   Valentine's weekend scavenger hunt! Complete your playing card while enjoying delicious chocolate treats at each participating merchant. Cross the finish line at the Chincoteague Center to have your playing card validated and entered in the grand prize drawings. Playing cards can be picked up from any participating merchant. Feb 15 - 8:00 p.m. " Rock the Tump" Musical performance by North Carolina's 
Chip and the Old Blocks. Sponsored by the Chincoteague Island Arts Organization. Come prepared to dance to the best of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.  Held at the Island Theatre. **Notice** The Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge is working with Ducks Unlimited to replace aging culverts.  Temporary closures in place until the end of February.  No cars permitted on the Wildlife Loop Trail at this time, but you can still hike or bike to the left of the entrance and around Swan Cove Trail.  Visitors will have to turn around to exit the Wildlife Loop.  Black Duck Trail will be closed at Beach Road.  There may be temporary closures on the Service Road during this time.  Thank you for your patience and please stay safe.
