May 19 thru 25 - Emergency Medical Services Week.  Recognizing the value and accomplishments of emergency medical services providers of the Town of Chincoteague & the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Co.

May 10 - 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Astronomy Night .   This event begins with an astronomy presentation in the Visitor Center's auditorium followed by night sky observations through high-powered telescopes. Hands-on space science activities, videos, and astronomy resources will also be available.   
May 11  - 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Story Time Listen to a story and make a craft that will explore different science themes.  Ages 3 to 6. 
May 11 - 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Tour of the Solar System.   Take a tour through our solar system with stops at the sun, the planets, dwarf planets and moons. Ages 8 and up. 
May 18 - 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Puppet Show.   Puppet Astronauts go on an adventure in space.  Ages 2 - 5. 
May 18 - 2:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. Peculiar Planet.   Join us for a short program to learn about one of the other planets in our solar system.  All ages.
2019 Youth Art Contest open to Pre-K through 12th grade students.  
NASA Wallops Visitor Center and the Virginia Space Flight Academy partner on this nationwide Youth Art Contest.  "Apollo's 50th Anniversary"  is the theme. 
June 1 - Registration form needs to be submitted. 
June 15 Artwork Submission Deadline.  Drop off artwork at NASA WFF Visitor Center.
