Dec 1 & 2 - 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Museum of Chincoteague Island Holiday Open Houses. 7125 Maddox Blvd. Join us for hot cider and delicious cookies while you browse our shop and exhibits. $4/adult, kids 12 & under are FREE, Museum Members are FREE. Featured artists will be available on select dates.

11:00 a.m. Chincoteague Police Department's Annual Poker Run for the Kids. Bikes meet at Walmart in Onley, VA. Registration fee is one new, unwrapped toy. The ride will end at Don's Seafood on Chincoteague where lunch will be served.

Home for the Holidays Tour. Featuring 14 Chincoteague homes as well as Inns, studios, she-sheds, and pop-up shops. The Annex next to the Island Theatre will be open the entire time of the tour to secure brochures. Poseidon's Pantry will provide pre-ordered lunches that can be picked up at the Annex. All proceeds of ticket sales will go to the Manna Cafe.

Annual Holiday Tree Lighting hosted by The Historic Main Street Merchants. Held at the Robert Reed Downtown Waterfront Park. 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 19th Annual Onancock Christmas Homes Tour & Music Festival. Sponsored by Onancock Business & Civic Association. House Tour tickets $20 and available at Eventbrite.com at "Onancock Christmas 2018" or Book Bin, Ker Place, Historic Onancock School & Thomas Gardens. Homes Tour proceeds benefit Citizens for a Better Easter Shore. Music Festival is FREE and held 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Performances held at the Historic Cokesbury Church.

Dec 13 - 5:00 p.m. Decorated Homes Contest. Town of Chincoteague will be judging homes decorated for Christmas throughout the Island. To ensure your house is seen,
before noon on Dec 12th.
Now thru Dec 14 - Food drive for the Chincoteague Island Food Closet. Come by The Baxter Group - Nationwide Insurance office to visit the Giving Tree. Pick up a card for your donation, drop off the items to help those in need this season. Visit at 4153 Main Street.
