Nov 17 - 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Investigation Station: Weather. Investigate a STEM related topic through labs, demonstrations an activities. Ages 6 and up.
Nov 17 - 2:00 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. Animals in Space: Fish. Short program to learn about one of the
animals that traveled in space. Ages 8 and up.

Nov 22 - 25 - 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Special drive open during Waterfowl Weekend. Drive along the Service Road. These four days are the only time visitors can take a 15-mile round trip journey in their personal vehicles to enjoy natural treasures found in northern areas of the refuge. All vehicles are expected to completely exit the Service Road by 4:00 p.m.

Nov 23 - 24 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - 16th Annual Artisans Guild Holiday Tour. Each year on Thanksgiving weekend guild members open their private studios to the public. This special opportunity allows visitors to observe artisans working in media like wood, floor cloths, stonework, jewelry, ceramics, glassware, fiber, sculpture and many more. A local vineyard also participates in the tour.
