Attention Chamber Members:
Kathie Cherrix may be visiting your business in the upcoming weeks collecting gift certificates and prizes for our Extravaganza of Prizes which will be raffled at the Chincoteague Oyster Festival on October 12th. The proceeds of the raffle support the chamber's Nicki L. West Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to a Chincoteague High School graduating senior on the basis of character, citizenship, leadership, ability and need to assist them in their future educational goals at the conclusion of the school year. In recognition and appreciation, your donation and business name will be listed on the official website for the festival, ChincoteagueOysterFestival.com, on the informational handout which is distributed to attendees on festival day and displayed on a large poster at the Extravaganza tent. Please consider donating to the raffle. We are grateful for your support of the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce and the youth of our island.
