The tour was really enjoyable, as we had a hilarious tour guide, who was quite educated in his studies. We had to go the whole way through, as we didn’t want to leave. Of course, the Scottish weather can sometimes be wet, so we ended up sitting in the rain for a small duration on the ride. On our last stop, we finally made to the castle, and we took our tour. Filled with happiness and excitement, we traversed the castle’s grounds. Ending at the Crown Jewels, we saw all the luxuries that the Royal Family wears. Then, after lots of endless walking and panting, we make it to the hotel to change.
We barely had time to breathe as we were late and didn't want to be any more! Arriving twenty-minutes late isn’t exactly the best situation possible, but we had a great Evensong nonetheless. Next up, dinner! We got fancy burgers and other delicious foods. Once we were done and dressed and ready, we left for the ghost tour. But how would we get there? We settled on a UK classic: the black cab!
Arriving at the location we soon met with our tour guide: a spooky ghost enthusiast. We went underground and explored the old ancient passageways of Edinburgh. She really was a good storyteller: I think everyone screamed at least once, including the adults! Finally after this big day, we went to sleep with a smile on our faces, reflecting on the amazing day we had, and thinking about how much fun we’ll be having tomorrow."
