Choir Tour Daily Updates #4

Port McNeill to Parksville

Saturday began in Port McNeill with a morning visit to world's largest tree burl (yes, it's a real thing) before our long journey down the island to Parksville. Assistant Director of Music Mark McDonald resumed his recently-assumed role as attendance-taker and bus tour guide...

In Parksville, we all ate ice cream and played Dec vs. Can mini-golf. Dec(ani) and Can(toris) are the two sides of the choir you see every week at the cathedral. And the winner was... Decani!

Lindsay Loomer Choir Tour

After our mini golf, we had our final dinner in Qualicum Beach. Donald Hunt took the opportunity to celebrate Lindsay, our fearless tour organizer, and our fantastic team of chaperones and volunteers. Not only has Lindsay's planning been impeccable, she has also led us all week with calm good cheer. She's also already hard at work on plans for our UK tour next summer!

...and then, the next thing we knew, Isolde had joined a band!

Tomorrow we sing (twice) in Nanaimo and head for home! Details below!
