Midwestern University Announces Two Pop-Up Vaccination Events
GLENDALE, Arizona (June 3, 2021) – Midwestern University will host two Pop-Up Vaccination Events, in partnership with the Maricopa County Department of Health, at the University’s Operation Hope Vaccination Center on June 8th and June 10th from 8:30am to 1:00pm each day.
These Pop-Up Vaccination Events are open to members of the public ages 18 and older at the Operation Hope Vaccination Center located at the Midwestern University Therapy Institute, 5815 West Utopia Road in Glendale, just south of the Loop 101 freeway. Individuals will receive the single-dose Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
There are no out-of-pocket charges for the vaccine. Those receiving a vaccine should arrive with a face mask, official photo identification, and, if possible, an insurance card. The Pop-Up Vaccination Events are part of Midwestern University’s ongoing Operation Hope, a community-focused COVID-19 vaccination outreach program that has administered over 16,600 vaccine doses to date and achieved an 82% vaccination rate for students, faculty, and staff members of the Midwestern community.
