Dear Cholla Residents,
Please note the 60 day closure of westbound 67th Ave offramp beginning August 4. Additionally, the westbound 59th Ave on ramp will begin a 60 day closure on August 11.
We knew there would be some inconveniences, but the project has remained on schedule.
See below for additional closures and please allow extra time to arrive at your destination safely.
51st Avenue at Loop 101 to be closed nightly Aug. 4-8
Additional overnight and long-term ramp closures scheduled over next two weeks
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures and restrictions, as part of the Loop 101, 75th Avenue to I-17 widening project.
- 51st Avenue will be closed at Loop 101 nightly, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Aug. 4, and ending the morning of Friday, Aug. 8.
- DETOUR: Drivers may use the east- and westbound frontage roads to navigate around the closure.
- The westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 59th Avenue will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5.
