Cholla District Weekly Update

Dear Cholla Residents,

As a member of the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), the City of Glendale participates in regional transportation planning. Part of this process is gathering public input related to our region's transportation needs. MAG has launched a website entitled Momentum, aimed at informing the public about this process. Click here to view the Momentum website.

Currently, the Valley is coming together to draft and create a long-term, regional transportation plan. This plan will guide major investments in our roadways and public transit systems for the next 20 years and beyond. If you would like to share your input on future transportation plans, you can do so by joining the conversation and submitting your views on the Momentum website. Click here to participate.

Streets between Beardsley Road and Deer Valley Road, between 67^th Avenue and 75^th Avenue – Slurry Seal application is currently taking place.

Streets between Bell Road and Union Hills Drive, between 51^st Avenue and 55^th Avenue – Latex Modified Surface Seal (LMSS) application is currently taking place.

Streets between Grovers Avenue and Union Hills Drive, between 55^th Avenue and 59^th Avenue – Slurry Seal application to begin May 19.

Streets between Union Hills Drive and Beardsley Road, between 59^th Avenue and 67^th Avenue - Latex Modified Surface Seal (LMSS) application to begin May 24.

79^th Avenue, Bell Road to Union Hills Drive – Utilities to be pre-lowered May 24 – 25 to prepare for the Thin Mill and Overlay to begin May 26.

Behrend Drive, east of 59^th Avenue – Slurry Seal application to take place during night time hours June 11.

64^th Drive, Union Hills Drive to Sack Drive – Slurry Seal application to take place late June.

Sack Drive, 64^th Drive to 67^th Avenue – Slurry Seal application to take place late June.

Parkside Lane, 67^th Avenue to 61^st Drive – Slurry Seal application to take place late June.

65^th Lane, Parkside Lane to Pinnacle Peak Road – Slurry Seal application to take place late June.
