Recently, I sent out a "please save the date" notice in my newsletter for the Cholla District Annual Holiday Mixer on Thursday, December 2nd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center (FRAC). I have been receiving feedback from residents that they would like to attend, but will have to skip the event this year due to the unrelenting COVID-19 numbers we are seeing. In order to avoid a low turnout for this fun event, I will postpone the mixer to spring of 2022 and will host a spring BBQ.
As an alternative for the December 2nd date, I will still host a public meeting on the same evening at FRAC at 5:30pm, but it will be socially distanced. The topic of the meeting will be Water Security in Glendale and a presentation will be made by Glendale's Water Services Department. This will be a more traditional meeting with a presentation and question/answer period at the end. In addition, food will be served boxed lunch dinner style for your convenience. Please save the date and RSVP below.

Mountain Ridge Baseball Event
There will be a Mountain Ridge Baseball Golf Tournament to benefit Mountain Ridge Baseball on December 4, 2021.
It will be a great day of golf at the beautiful Hillcrest Golf Course in Sun City West, AZ (www.hillcrestgolfclub.com). The event will include a 4-person scramble, lunch, raffle prizes and awards reception following the golf. Registration will begin at 7am with an 8am start time. There will be opportunities for raffle prizes, mulligans, hole in one contests, Super Bowl squares and more! All benefitting the Mountain Ridge Baseball Program!
