Letter From the Director

And Just Like That...

And just like that…the end of the school year is in sight. It feels like we were just welcoming students into brand-new courses, figuring out schedules, and easing into the rhythm of the school year. And now? We’re staring down the final stretch.

One of the things I love most about this time of year is that it shows how far we’ve come. Students who once struggled with measurements are now reading manuals with confidence. Classrooms that were just getting organized are now humming with purpose. And many of you are watching students begin to take real, tangible steps toward aviation careers.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It takes planning, intention, and measured steps. And now is the time to take steps towards the end of this year and the start of the next.

It’s time to start working on:

  • Collecting your success stories
  • End of program student surveys
  • ATEC General Aviation Maintenance Credential preparation
  • Teacher training registration
  • Annual curriculum applications
  • License agreements for the upcoming year

We’ve got specific steps for you to take in a newsletter article below. None of this is meant to feel overwhelming — just intentional. The more we prepare now, the smoother the runway will be as we close out this school year and launch the next one.

So yes — “and just like that” we’re at planning season again. But we’re here together, and we’re ready for it.

As always, if you have questions about credential planning, applications, or anything else on the horizon, reach out. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

Let's finish strong,

Kelly Filgo

Director of Operations
