Holloway Family donates $1M to The Foundation for NH Community Colleges
The Foundation for New Hampshire Community Colleges announced today that Anna Grace and Paul Holloway have made a historic $1 million gift to establish an endowed scholarship for students enrolled at any of the state’s seven community colleges.

CCSNH bids farewell to Great Bay’s Clancy
Sean Clancy, who has been Great Bay Community College’s ambassador to the seacoast area business community as vice president for marketing and business engagement, will become assistant city manager for economic development for the City of Portsmouth. Clancy said the job will keep him attuned to the role the college plays in building workforce and supporting the economic vibrancy of the region.
LRCC auto tech student mentors local high schoolers in "All Girls Garage"
Abigail McIntosh says choosing Lakes Region Community College was "probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life, because I’m not going broke at some college out of state and I love what I’m doing." Studying locally also gave her the chance to mentor local students in Concord CRTC's Automotive program and inspire the next generation of technicians.
Great Bay Community College is working to help more students become K-12 teachers
With unprecedented opportunities to enter the field of teaching, Great Bay Community College is helping more of its students prepare for a career in education and fill critical needs across New Hampshire.

Rarely has there been a more important and impactful time for education students to enter the field. According to a survey by the National Education Association, 80 percent of members said they have seen more retirements and resignations since the start of the pandemic.
General healthcare pre-apprenticeship set to begin with Dartmouth-Hitchcock
ApprenticeshipNH-High School, Dartmouth-Hitchcock, and River Valley Community College have developed a general healthcare pre-apprenticeship program for high school students and adults. The program prepares individuals for facilitated entry into one of the three registered apprenticeships operating at Dartmouth-Hitchcock: Medical Assistant, Certified Pharmacy Technician, and Surgical Technologist.
