GBCC Hospitality Program poised to meet new demand
The Seacoast hospitality industry is ready to come roaring back, and Great Bay Community College offers associate degree and short-term certificate options in Hotel, Restaurant and Event Management that will generate skilled and career-ready graduates. 'Building Beds, Building Community' at Manchester Community College
Manchester Community College students and staff came together this Spring to build 30 beds for local children.

The “Building Beds, Building Community” event was held in partnership with the Hillsborough County Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national nonprofit dedicated to building, assembling and delivering bunk beds to children and families in need. The goal is to make sure kids are not sleeping on the floor and “have a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads.”
Courage and perseverance – Nashua Community College grad Bruno Soares overcame adversity to achieve his dream
Courage takes many forms. For Bruno Soares, a native of Brazil, courage is making the choice to leave his home country behind to pursue a dream of becoming a lawyer and advocate in a country where he didn't even speak the language. He overcame these major obstacles one by one with the help of many teachers, supporters and friends who could see his courage align with his determination to practice law in a democratic country that believes in the power of citizens to effect positive change.
