Manchester Community College has become the sponsor of three information technology (IT) career pathways through ApprenticeshipNH, a workforce program of the Community College System of New Hampshire. MCC will work with employers to build Cybersecurity Support Technician, Network Support Specialist and Technical Support Specialist pathways for adults and high schoolers through registered and pre-apprentice programs, creating a pipeline to help fill in-demand jobs with skilled employees. Nearly every business has IT positions, and many have immediate and ongoing needs for skilled workers.

“It is tremendously valuable to incorporate registered apprenticeships into MCC’s already robust computer science and cybersecurity programs,” said Brian Bicknell, president of Manchester Community College. “This pathway to IT occupations enables any business with IT staffing needs to work with us to easily create apprentice programs and help fill career gaps.”
