Lakes Region Community College promotes new LPN, Medical Assistant training opportunities
LRCC, located in Laconia, is expanding programs that train Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, two professions in high demand across the Granite State. The college hopes to attract new students to join the state's healthcare workforce at a time of rising need. 
Great Bay Community College launches new manufacturing skills training programs
GBCC is launching new, short-term programs for manufacturing training. The four-week courses provide flexible options for students to build in-demand technical skills while also helping area employers meet skilled workforce needs.
NHTI honors former student with memorial dedication
Family, friends, faculty, staff, and students gathered at NHTI-Concord's Community College recently to dedicate a granite bench to the memory of Grace Orzechowski, a student in the Radiation Therapy program who passed away in 2020. The granite bench is engraved with her name and is located at the side entrance to MacRury Hall – where Grace spent the majority of her time as a promising young student.

Nikki Guidoboni, a motorcycle-riding, real-life “Rosie the Riveter,” took the first steps in her career by enrolling in a welding technology class at Derry's Pinkerton Academy. She followed a pathway to Manchester Community College where she gained the skills for a lifetime.
