for camp lanterns and stoves?
Well, that depends on a lot of variables, including make and model of the implement, projected use of it, resupply options and personal preference.

during a power outage is really important. And a good way to acquire a reliable light and save money is to look for used gas lanterns at thrift stores and garage sales.
But never buy a lantern that looks like it might be even remotely unsafe! Here are some tips for checking out second hand, used lanterns.

Ask several knowledgeable fisherpeople with a wilderness survival background and you'll probably get that many opinions!
My nomination for the best survival lure is the plain old, time tested leadhead jig.
