One of the most common issues that small group leaders face is choosing content to discuss. For some new leaders, it may seem difficult to come up with a fruitful curriculum. For others, especially those who have perused the RightNow Media library provided by North Way, it may seem like there are too many options!

As we head into summer, here are some ideas for your group's discussion time:

Sermon-Based Discussion Questions
For every sermon preached at our church, there is a corresponding set of discussion questions. You can find them on the sermon outlines you receive at the church service or right on the message of our website (click "outline" under the title of each message). You'll also receive great small group discussion questions by email for some of the sermon series if you sign up for daily devotional and small group content by texting NORTHWAY to 42828.

Video-Driven Studies on RightNow Media
Hopefully you're familiar with this treasure trove of content that has been called "the Netflix of Christian Bible Study." If you don't have an account, feel free to email Amanda to receive an invitation to the website.

If you're overwhelmed by all the options, why not check out Francis Chan's 12-week study on the Book of James? We also recommend this 4-week study on life in community by Shauna Niequist

A Book of the Bible
You can always spend 4-8 weeks working through a book of the Bible together as a small group. There are many tools available to help you do so, and we've also created this helpful PDF as a way for you to lead a meaningful discussion on your own. A simple and effective tool available for many of the books of the Bible can be found in the NavPress LifeChange Series.
