Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) support you with behavioral health, and substance abuse issues impacting you, your life, and your job performance.

You may want to use an EAP especially in this time of uncertainty if you're experiencing stress, anxiety/depression, and/or substance abuse.
Types of EAP services:

  • Management EAP

  • Union EAP
Management EAP
When called in for progressive discipline, management will want to offer management's EAP services. When using management's EAP:
  • Services are mostly available during business hours
  • EAP serves management and you by providing referrals
  • Services are vast, but can be impersonal, and offered remotely
  • No job protection advocacy
Union EAP
You have the option of union EAP services through your union. When using a Union EAP:
  • Your right to fair representation will be met
  • Confidential, no-cost, personalized case-management
  • 24/7 live service, and a reliable certified Employee Assistance Professional will work exclusively with you for the duration of your case
  • Understands the climate within union organizations
  • Additional services added to support you while facing COVID-19
  • Job protection (i.e., suspend disciplinary action)
  • Medical defense created through ADA, FMLA, and Chapter 69 protects your job
We are a union EAP , here to help you, especially during this time of uncertainty.

If you're feeling stress, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness or any other signs of behavioral health issues, or substance abuse, give us a call. We can help.
