Complimentary Music from Contemporary ACDA Composers
We are grateful to our ACDA composers who have gifted the following pieces for our members' use during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ACDA member composers: Do you have a piece of choral music you composed that you would like to share with choral conductors and singers as a gift during these difficult times? Please email a PDF score along with a shareable web link for the piece to CompositionCommittee@acda.org.
ACDA member Dr. Rebecca Lord has developed a living database of artists willing to make online guest appearances for choirs and music classes. It is an amazing list of diverse professionals offering to appear for choir classes, events, community and church choirs - about any choral situation. Explore the directory.
We invite you to check this page regularly for added resources. Among the items recently added:

  • Skylark is in the process of launching six online education modules with educational tools, including a performance edition, practice audio tools, video coachings, and much more. The pieces have a varying degree of difficulty in a variety of styles and languages. These are a free gift to the choral community.
ACDA Diversity Audit and Survey
Within the next few days you will be receiving an email from ACDA President Lynne Gackle introducing an important new initiative. The Executive Committee is working with Dr. Antonio C. Cuyler to conduct a diversity audit of ACDA. We request your feedback on where our organization is in terms of diversity and inclusion, and your ideas for moving forward in this area. Stay tuned!

National Conference
The ACDA 2021 national conference is going virtual! To ensure that we keep members and choirs safe, ACDA has determined that a pivot from the traditional onsite ACDA national conference to a virtual one is necessary during this time of COVID-19. Read full announcement.

Anyone teaching singing, including choral directors and K-12 music educators, and who contracted COVID-19 is urged to complete the anonymous survey. The goal of the survey is to begin to identify the long-term impacts of the virus on the physical and vocal performance of singing teachers. Click here to access the survey.
