OUR PARISH MISSION
Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.
We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING
God's love.

There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:
you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

Bridging the Gap
Due to Hurricane Sally and the flooding of the Washburn Center, our neighbors without homes are in great need of toiletries, including bars of soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, disposable razors, hand sanitizer, wash clothes, socks, and hand cream. Also, with cold weather here we are collecting blankets. Please click here for more information on how to help.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY CHAPEL
Sunday, January 10

Although Epiphany was January 6th, we will celebrate this time in the church year Sunday. We will hear the story of the wisemen following the star to see the Christ child. This will provide an opportunity for us to discuss the gifts the wisemen brought to the Christ child and to talk about the gifts we give to him. We will be painting stars and of course we will have glitter!

The class will follow the same format we have used since we began in-person chapel for the children. We have an opening prayer and discussion so that the children can share what is happening in their lives, we hear a Bible Story, we have a snack, and we create paintings, etc. as time permits. We close each Sunday with a socially distanced prayer circle. Please join us either in person or as a Zoomer. Parents, please sign children up here (max 15 children).

For those who are with us on Zoom, Britton Lynn and Rudy will be with you to tell this story — these sessions begin at 9:30 AM. The meeting ID is 3205228708. Britton will let you in through the waiting room.

ADULT CHRISTIAN FORMATION OFFERING
Jesus: Light of the World ~ Sundays, 9:00 AM
Many people have experienced a time when emotions have resulted in a loss of words and a song or poem comes to mind which describes our feelings. This was the experience of Mary, mother of Jesus, when she breaks into singing "The Magnificat." Professor Amy-Jill Levin writes about this song in her study "Light of the World" and her insights are the subject for discussion this Sunday at 9:00 AM. Dick Hooper and David Starling are the facilitators. Join the dialogue through the ZOOM link available in the Saturday announcements. Please click here for more information.
