. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you or anyone you know has needs (physical, emotional, spiritual, etc.) by emailing Fr. Walt at

~ OUTREACH ~
During this time, there are ways to effectively and safely extend our hands in love to our neighbors in need. Each week, the
Chronicle
will provide upcoming opportunities and a list of other ways to be involved. If you are looking for ways to be involved, please consider these immediate needs of our community:
Food Drive to Support Montclair Elementary
This Thursday and Friday, 12-6 PM ~ Odd Colony Brewing Co.
Support the students of Montclair Elementary through Odd Colony Brewing Co. and Legacy House’s food drive. Drop off any non-perishable items at Odd Colony (next to Polonza Bistro) from 12-6 PM, today and tomorrow.
Bridging the Gap Collection – Monday-Friday, Christ Church Parking Lot
Our neighbors without homes are in need of hygiene supplies (including individually packaged wet wipes and ways to stay clean during this time with limited access to showers), sunscreen, and snack food items (snack bars or other easily carried items since there is less access to food). To maintain social distancing, beginning on Monday, you can drive through our parking lot and drop off supplies in the box outside the church door.
Additional Opportunities:
- Feeding the Gulf Coast Volunteering:
- Food Distribution for Local Youth at Libraries – to volunteer (Monday-Friday 11am-1pm), contact Todd at tjhumble@mywfpl.com
- Volunteer to sort and pack emergency food boxes at Milton Warehouse – Volunteer.
- Waterfront Mission:
- For the health and safety of all at Waterfront, they are only accepting donations of food through delivery orders to the Mission – Grocery List and Instructions
- Additional items needed (ordered through Walmart or Amazon for delivery): Rice, dried beans, pasta and sauce, large cans of vegetables, jars of peanut butter, sandwich bread, disposable plates and utensils, and lunch bags.
- Manna Food Pantries: For the health and safety of clients, volunteers, and staff, Manna is unable to accept donations of food at this time. We will update you as to when they will be accepting food donations again.
- Donate Blood: If you are healthy and able to donate blood, please follow the links to these two organizations for instructions and how to schedule an appointment: American Red Cross and One Blood
Christ Church is continuing to explore ways that we can serve our neighbors that is both effective and safe (for us and others). If you have any ideas or hear of any needs, please email Rev. Katie at

MARCH MADNESS 2020
UPDATE!
With the current “social distancing” situation, you may enter your animal in the game by mailing your check to: Christ Church, Post Office Box 12683, Pensacola, FL 32591. Please be sure to indicate which animal and its name.
In 2019 we raised well over $8,000 for Episcopal Relief & Development which gives animals and training to families in poverty so that they can be economically sustainable. A gift of just $80 will “buy” an animal and its naming rights, but you may give any amount. If you have a question you may contact Hilda Jones at 850.438.8878 or
hildalittlejones@cox.net

ADULT EDUCATION ROUND TABLE CLASS:
The Greatest Prayer
Most Christians memorized the Lord's Prayer as children and it is part of our liturgy for every service. Yet, while said multiple times a week some of us do not understand what Jesus was teaching us to pray and others may have learned but forgotten. For some it has become words said but not prayed. Our group will begin a study of
The Greatest Prayer
by John Dominic Crossan on April 19. Books will need to be ordered by March 27 in order to ensure their delivery. The cost will be approximately $10. If you would like to order a book, call or text David Starling at (850) 712-0977. You may email him at
