CHILDREN'S SUNDAY CHAPEL
Sunday, May 23 ~ Pentecost
We will celebrate Pentecost this Sunday. This is the time in the church year when we remember God pouring down the fire of the holy spirit to Jesus’ disciples. Known as the birthday of the church, we will have a birthday party complete with red velvet cakes and balloons. This will be both a meaningful time and a fun time as we continue to remember Jesus’ life and the sending of his disciples into the world to spread his teachings.
**Please note: no sign-up required any longer**
For those who are with us on Zoom, Britton and Rudy will be with you to tell a story — these sessions begin at 9:30 AM. The meeting ID is 3205228708. Britton will let you in through the waiting room.

JOIN THE FLOWER MINISTRY!
Christ Church Flower Ministry is a part of the Altar Guild. This past year our ranks whittled down to two for the safety of the church and now we need to grow this ministry and we need YOUR help! We buy the flowers and arrange them for the Sunday church services. Flowers are usually bought at Carlstedt's Florist on Thurs–Sat. before 3:00 PM, and arranged on Friday or Saturday at your time choosing. We will help you get comfortable in your efforts.
We will meet, train you, and then, as you are comfortable, you will be on your own. An e-mailed calendar will be sent for you to sign up for Sundays that are convenient to you. We are flexible and if you need to switch days, that works too. This is a joyful way to be involved in your church and at your own time convenience. Time commitment depends on you, but as your confidence grows: buying flowers – 20 minutes; arranging – 40-60 minutes. Our hope is to have enough people (ladies or men) where you may only be on call once every two months. Christmas and Easter we decorate the altar as a team. Please consider joining our team — you will, as always, get more out of it than you put in! Your church needs YOU!
