This coming Sunday we will review our lessons about the Bible and have a fun quiz. The person with the most correct answers will receive a special treat. We have spent our time together learning about the Bible and hearing the great stories from the Old and New Testaments so this should be a fun time!

For the time being, parents are asked to bring their children to the Parish Hall. We will continue our format as follows: gathering, lesson, refreshments, crafts, and closing prayer circle. Children will be at the entrance to the Parish Hall for pick-up after the 10:30 service. Please know that we welcome visitors each Sunday. And, of course, dolls and favorite stuffed animals join us each Sunday! **Please note: no sign-up required any longer**

JOIN THE ALTAR GUILD!
The Christ Church Altar Guild is a dedicated group of volunteers. We are a hospitality ministry that works behind the scenes to welcome parishioners to the Lord's table. Whenever a Eucharist is celebrated, we set the table. This includes preparing for funerals, baptisms and weddings as needed.

We welcome men and women of all ages. You choose your time commitment and are paired with an experienced altar guild member for training. Once you are trained, you will continue to work as a team member. Why not invite a friend to join with you and be on your team? Being a member of the Altar Guild is a very meaningful and peaceful experience...serving God by setting the Lord's table...how wonderful is that?

ADULT CHRISTIAN ED OFFERING ~ "Faith For Our Times" Sundays ~ 9:00 AM (via Zoom)
In the eighth chapter ("Great Awakening") of her book, Christianity After Religion, Diana Butler Bass writes about times of major transformation for the church and contends this is such a time. The reasons for and effects of such a transformation are topics for discussion this Sunday, May 30. The last week for our study of this book will be Sunday, June 6, and the discussion is about ways each Christian might participate in a transformative process of Christianity and its church. This is the ninth and final chapter entitled "Performing Awakening." Join the conversation at 9:00 AM on Sundays through the ZOOM link provided in the Saturday email. Dick Hooper and David Starling facilitate the sessions. Please click here for more information.

EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY NEWS
ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS
Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here.
CARE IN COMMUNITY
Christ Church is here for you. There are many ministries to love and support the people who are the church. We continue to support one another, especially during this pandemic. If you are interested in assisting with staying connected to our church family, please email Rev. Katie or call her at the Parish Office, 850-432-5115. It is easy to feel alone or disconnected right now, so reach out to one of the priests or someone at the church to say hello. Contact Rev. Katie if you or anyone you know has any needs. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call our pastoral care emergency line to speak directly with one of the priests: (850) 462-5137.
