OUR PARISH MISSION

Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.

We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING

God's love.

There are several ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:

you can mail in your pledge, place in the Sunday offering,

give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

We experience God's love (Worship)

The class is open to anyone interested (even if you have not read the book).

Sunday, June 29 ~ 12:00 PM

Join us for a delightful afternoon for lunch at Nick's Boathouse at 12 Noon and “Camelot” at Pensacola Little Theatre at 2:30 PM on Sunday, June 29. “Camelot” is a timeless musical that transports audiences to the legendary kingdom of King Arthur, his beloved Queen Guinevere, and the valiant Knights of the Round Table. Filled with romance, chivalry, and the pursuit of an idealized society, the story explores themes of honor, betrayal, and the struggle to maintain peace in a world rife with conflict. The minimum number for the group rate is 10 people. The cost is $58 per person and includes lunch (with tax and tip) and play tickets. For additional information and registration form, please click here. Registration forms are also available on the information table in the Foyer.

CHRIST CHURCH SUMMER CHOIR

Are you somewhat interested in singing in the Christ Church Choir but unsure about a long-term commitment? Or perhaps you and a family member or friend might like to try something new together? The Christ Church Summer Choir may be just the thing for you! This summer program features limited rehearsal time and accessible choir literature. Rehearsals will take place at 6:00 PM in the Choir Room on the following dates: June 25, July 9 & 23, and August 6, 2025.

The choir arrives on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM to warm up and rehearse for the 10:30 AM Eucharist. Prospective singers are not required to commit to singing the entire summer but may join as they are able. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Jason or attend a Wednesday evening rehearsal on one of the above dates. Come, join us as we make our joyful noise unto the Lord!

Attention 6th–12th graders!!

JOIN AN ACOLYTE TEAM!

Acolytes are “ones who help” and are important individuals that make worship possible on Sunday mornings. From serving as a torch bearer that shines the light of Christ to being a server who helps prepare the Lord’s Table, there are many ways to be part of the team. Any 6th-12th grade youth can become an acolyte, serving roughly one Sunday a month. Click here to learn more or join an acolyte team.

JUNE INVESTMENT DRIVE – J.U.S.T. Pensacola

(Justice United Seeking Transformation)

Our annual Investment Drive is an incredibly important part of what we do. If we want to grow our ability to change the way systems operate in Pensacola and Escambia County, then we have to “own” the advocacy that we are building. J.U.S.T. supports a FT Organizer; a PT Admin Assistant; staff/network member training provided by DART (Direct Action and Research Training Center); office expenses; and outside services. June is our investment month. Please consider making a meaningful investment in Christ Church’s membership and commitment to justice ministry, so that we reach our 2025-26 investment goal of $4,000. There are three ways to invest: make a one-time investment or monthly investments at justpensacola.org/invest; send check or money order to J.U.S.T. Pensacola, 6 E. Wright St., Pensacola, FL 32501; or set up electronic payment with your bank.

STAY CONNECTED WITH

CHILDREN & FAMILY MINISTRY!

Children and Family Ministry (CFM) has two ways to keep our families connected with Christ Church during the week. CFM is on Instagram, @cckidspensacola, and shares what is happening on Sunday mornings & ideas for how to keep faithful conversations happening during the week. CFM also has a bite-sized weekly email with the "5 Things" our families need to know for the week – Sunday reminders, save the dates, and more. Would you like to be added? Email Sarah to be added to the list!

CHRIST CHURCH NAMETAGS

To request yours, please sign up online here. Nametags may be picked up from the information table in the Foyer the Sunday after your request is submitted.

ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS

Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. After the Sunday services, the altar flower arrangements are reworked into smaller arrangements. These arrangements are delivered to members of our parish family that are unable to attend a Sunday service. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here and on the information table in the Foyer.

CHURCH PRAYER SHAWLS

A few prayer shawls have been placed on a stand just inside the front doors of the church that may be used during services. If you are a bit chilly or just want something to hold, pick up a prayer shawl to use. It is the hope of the Prayer Shawl Ministry that these items, prayerfully made, will offer comfort and a sense of well-being to the borrowers and they will feel God’s love and peace.

CARE IN COMMUNITY

Christ Church is here for you. There are many ministries to love and support the people who are the church. If you are interested in assisting with staying connected to our church family, please email Rev. Katie or call her at the Parish Office, 850-432-5115. It is easy to feel alone or disconnected, so reach out to one of the priests or someone at the church to say hello. Contact Rev. Katie if you or anyone you know has any needs. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call our pastoral care emergency line to speak directly with one of the priests: (850) 462-5137.
