***A Sister’s Embrace is an organization with a mission of creating awareness of the young women and girls who are forever affected by their experience in the human trafficking trade. A Sister’s Embrace fights against modern-day slavery through small acts in the community and encouraging the public to open their eyes and act openly on the issue at hand. Christ Church will support A Sister’s Embrace through the Chapstick ministry. Labels are affixed to Chapstick with the human trafficking hotline number. The Chapsticks are distributed locally at motels, restaurants, public restrooms, and other locations to help spread general awareness, identify trafficking victims, and reach out to victims in need of assistance.
