OUR PARISH MISSION
Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.
We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING
God's love.

There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:
you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

JOIN OUR NEW A/V TECH TEAM!
Christ Church is beginning a new ministry called the A/V Tech team and we would love to have you be involved! We are seeking individuals in the congregation who are passionate about using their technology gifts at Christ Church. This ministry is the gateway for how many people come to know about Christ Church and stay engaged when they are not able to be at Christ Church in person. By livestreaming worship services and operating the A/V system, you create the online worship experience. Additionally, you will have the ability to interact with newcomers virtually and help all who encounter our worship online feel welcome through our YouTube channel and Facebook page. This ministry will involve working on a team to operate the equipment together and only involves being behind the scenes during service on the Sunday morning you are available to serve. If you are able to turn on a computer, post comments on social media, and follow along with the service to make sure the right camera is broadcasting, you have all the skills you need to be part of this ministry.

To be part of this new ministry, sign up via the link above under 'Opportunities to Serve' or in person after service. We will contact you about upcoming training opportunities and the ability to shadow before livestreaming a service.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY CHAPEL
~ Sunday, July 11 ~
Don't miss our special guests this Sunday!
For the past four Sundays, we have been hearing and discussing the parables Jesus told about growing God’s kingdom. This coming Sunday we will hear a beautiful story entitled The Tree in Me by Corinna Luyken. This is a tender and layered story that celebrates the strength and wonder within each of us and the gifts we receive from our community and from the natural world. We will have our own talented artists with us. Sarah Soule Webb will help us paint a tree and Juilliard-trained professional dancer Aaron Carr will lead us in tree poses and dance movements. Both Sarah and Aaron grew up at Christ Church so this is an incredibly special time for us. Parents: You do not want your children to miss this!

ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CLASS:
Facing Fear with Discipleship
Sundays ~ 9:15 AM ~ Parish Hall
"Loving the Other in Church" is the title of Chapter 4 in William Willimon's study, Fear of the Other.  In the chapter he writes that loving the annoying person next door may be easier than loving our "neighbors across the ocean." Learning to love Jesus' friends is the topic for discussion this Sunday at 9:15 AM. You can participate in the conversation through Zoom or be present in Room 31 upstairs in the Christian Education building. Dick Hooper and David Starling facilitate the sessions.

EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY NEWS
ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS
Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here.
CARE IN COMMUNITY
Christ Church is here for you. There are many ministries to love and support the people who are the church. We continue to support one another, especially during this pandemic. If you are interested in assisting with staying connected to our church family, please email Rev. Katie or call her at the Parish Office, 850-432-5115. It is easy to feel alone or disconnected right now, so reach out to one of the priests or someone at the church to say hello. Contact Rev. Katie if you or anyone you know has any needs. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call our pastoral care emergency line to speak directly with one of the priests: (850) 462-5137.
