Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.
We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING
God's love.
There are several ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:
you can mail in your pledge, place in the Sunday offering,
give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

Summer Adult Christian Education Offering
Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer
Sundays ~ 9:30-10:15 AM ~ Rm. 31 of Education Bldg.
“We must arrange our days so that we are deeply enjoying everyday life with God,” writes Rev. Comer in this chapter, “How? A Rule of Life.” Christians often practice prayer, scripture reading, and attending church. The discussion this week considers other disciplines he suggests may be of benefit for following Jesus on “the way.” Class participants may even share personal spiritual practices.

CHRIST CHURCH CHORISTERS REGISTRATION
NOW OPEN!
Registration for the Christ Church Choristers is now open! Rehearsals begin Wednesday, August 20. Choristers will rehearse from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Choir Room. Christ Church will offer music instruction to interested choristers between EDS regular release and chorister rehearsal. From 2:35 to 3:25 PM, interested Choristers will receive instruction in basic music theory (pitch, rhythm, sight singing), musicianship, and history of sacred music and liturgy. This instruction is optional, and prospective choristers are not required to take part. Those choristers opting not to attend the Christ Church Music Class will be collected from EDS aftercare prior to the start of rehearsal (around 3:25 PM).
Christ Church Choristers is affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music, and instruction will utilize the RSCM Voice for Life® curriculum, allowing motivated choristers to achieve recognition for their musical achievements and to participate in various summer music courses around the United States. There is no cost to participate in Christ Church Choristers, and all necessary supplies are provided. Of course, donations to the Christ Church Chorister program are always very much appreciated and put to good use. The Choristers join the Parish Choir at the 10:30 AM Eucharist two Sundays each month (beginning September 7, 2025), as well as the Christmas Eve 6:00 PM service and Easter Day 9:00 and 11:00 services. In the future, the Choristers will also join the Parish Choir for Choral Evensong and Lessons & Carols services.
The Christ Church Chorister Registration form maybe found here. Prospective Choristers may register at any time throughout the academic year. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Dr. Jason Hobratschk, Director of Music Ministry by clicking the link.

STAY CONNECTED WITH
CHILDREN & FAMILY MINISTRY!
Children and Family Ministry (CFM) has two ways to keep our families connected with Christ Church during the week. CFM is on Instagram, @cckidspensacola, and shares what is happening on Sunday mornings & ideas for how to keep faithful conversations happening during the week. CFM also has a bite-sized weekly email with the "5 Things" our families need to know for the week – Sunday reminders, save the dates, and more. Would you like to be added? Email Sarah to be added to the list!

CHRIST CHURCH NAMETAGS
To request yours, please sign up online here. Nametags may be picked up from the information table in the Foyer the Sunday after your request is submitted.

ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS
Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. After the Sunday services, the altar flower arrangements are reworked into smaller arrangements. These arrangements are delivered to members of our parish family that are unable to attend a Sunday service. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here and on the information table in the Foyer.

CHURCH PRAYER SHAWLS
A few prayer shawls have been placed on a stand just inside the front doors of the church that may be used during services. If you are a bit chilly or just want something to hold, pick up a prayer shawl to use. It is the hope of the Prayer Shawl Ministry that these items, prayerfully made, will offer comfort and a sense of well-being to the borrowers and they will feel God’s love and peace.

CARE IN COMMUNITY
Christ Church is here for you. There are many ministries to love and support the people who are the church. If you are interested in assisting with staying connected to our church family, please email Rev. Katie or call her at the Parish Office, 850-432-5115. It is easy to feel alone or disconnected, so reach out to one of the priests or someone at the church to say hello. Contact Rev. Katie if you or anyone you know has any needs. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call our pastoral care emergency line to speak directly with one of the priests: (850) 462-5137.
