Reading the book is not required, rather it is encouraged for the discussion questions at the end of the teaching. Wednesday, August 19 - Session Three: White Fragility in Action and Next Steps — Join Fr. Michael and Rev. Katie as we explore examples of DiAngelo’s concept of “white fragility” and steps towards stopping racist patterns.

If you want to read along, consider purchasing White Fragility here and support Cultured Books, a pop-up children’s bookstore in Florida with the mission of fostering love of self by showing positive images and sharing great stories about people of color.

Our weekly Africa 🇺🇬 EYC Book Club on ZOOM
Every Sunday ~ 7:00-8:00 PM
Surprise special guests from Uganda ministries will join us as we read about a teen who moved from Nashville, TN to Uganda in faith — and the challenges to trust God while in Africa. This book club is for guys and girls of all ages. It is a New York Times Bestseller – and one of Britton's personal favorites! You do not need to RSVP to come to the book club and there is no "homework" or reading to participate in this book club! Purchasing a book is not necessary. We will be screen-sharing an e-book, but if you would like to purchase a book it is Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis.
