Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.
We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING
God's love.
There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:
you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

Join us this fall with an interactive journey to connect us with fellow parishioners and dig deeper into God’s Word. We will be using Bible Project to lead us in our study. As the people of Christ Church, we will read the entire New Testament over the course of two fall semesters. Click here for the readings and links.
There are three ways to engage:
1. Small group discussions on Sundays at 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM. We will begin in a Zoom format where we watch a short video on the Bible book being covered for the week then break out into small groups to discuss two questions.
2. Disciple track – read highlights of the Bible book covered on Sunday each day.
3. Scholar track – read the entire Bible book covered on Sunday over the course of the week.

Mobile Food Pantry
In partnership with Allen Chapel AME, Christ Church gives away 10,000 pounds of food twice a month. The next mobile food pantry date is Saturday, September 26. To sign up to help, email Honey Harris.
Montclair Elementary School
Christ Church works with the leadership of Montclair Elementary to amplify the school's efforts and bless the students. While we cannot provide mentors and tutors like we have in the past, the school’s administration will be working with us on needs that they may have as school starts back.
Pastoral Care/Connection
Christ Church has many ministries that love and support the people who are the church. We will continue to work to support one another through good times and bad, especially during this pandemic. To assist in one of the many ways that we reach out to our church family, email Fr. Walt.

Volunteers Needed!!
FOOD DISTRIBUTION DAY
Saturday, September 26 ~ 9:00 AM
Allen Chapel AME Church
We have been serving around 200 families each food distribution. Our next food distribution day will be Saturday, September 26, partnering with Allen Chapel AME Church and distributing food at 500 N. Guillemard St. We need volunteers to work a shift in the morning to either sort or distribute food. Volunteer duties range from directing traffic and filling out forms for families, to more labor-involved duties of sorting and distributing food. While it is outdoors and we take precautions like masks, please do not volunteer if you are at a high risk of infection or if you are not feeling well. Please email Honey Harris to volunteer.

You can register for in-church chapel service for children which will be held at 10:30 AM in the Parish Hall, or you can participate in a Zoom class with our Director of Youth Ministries, Britton Lynn. The link to register for in-church chapel service and Zoom information will be in the Chronicle next week.
If you are planning to attend the in-church service, please know we are providing a "Covid-Safe" space. We will have signs marking the way.

You do not need to RSVP to come to the book club and there is no "homework" or reading to participate in this book club! Purchasing a book is not necessary. We will be screen-sharing an e-book, but if you would like to purchase a book it is Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis.
