In spite of the pandemic circumstances, Christ Episcopal Church Dallas has continued ministering to those in need by distributing food to the hungry recognizing that those who live in poverty and marginalization are a very real expression of the presence of God in today’s world.
In collaboration with Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid (OCCEA), we are once again preparing to bring Thanksgiving to the table of many more families in need this year. Last year, we helped provide holiday food baskets to over 40 families, and this year in 2020, our hope is to reach 220 families! Throughout these months of COVID quarantine and loss of employment in many family households, Christ Church has collaborated with Farmers to Families to feed many families as well.
Make plans to help from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, November 10th or Saturday, November 21st. On Tuesday, we will be preparing "food baskets" for the Family Thanksgiving Harvest Day which will be Saturday, November 21st!
If you are not able to help in November, you will have other opportunities for the Christmas Family Day (12/19/2020) or New Year Family Day (1/16/2021).

A pesar de las circunstancias de la pandemia, la Iglesia Episcopal Cristo de Dallas ha continuado ministrando a los necesitados distribuyendo alimentos a los hambrientos reconociendo que aquellos que viven en la pobreza y la marginación son una expresión muy real de la presencia de Dios en el mundo de hoy.
Además, en colaboración con Oak Cliff Churches for Emergency Aid (OCCEA) [La coalición de Ayudas de Emergencia de las Iglesias de Oak Cliff], una vez más nos estamos preparando para llevar el Día de Acción de Gracias a la mesa de muchas más familias necesitadas este año. El año pasado, ayudamos a proporcionar canastas de alimentos navideños a más de 40 familias, y este año en 2020, nuestra esperanza es llegar a 220 familias. A lo largo de estos meses de cuarentena COVID y pérdida de empleo en hogares familiares, la Iglesia Episcopal Cristo ha colaborado con Farmers to Families para alimentar a muchas familias también.
Haga planes para ayudar de 10 am a 12 pm el Martes 10 de Noviembre o el Sábado 21 de Noviembre. El Martes, estaremos preparando "canastas de comida" para el Día de la Cosecha de Acción de Gracias Familiar, que será el Sábado 21 de Noviembre.
Si no puede ayudar en Noviembre, tendrá otras oportunidades para ayudar con los Dia Familiares de Navidad (12/19/2020) o las Dia Familiares de Año Nuevo (1/16/2021).

Stewardship Sunday
We are grateful for your generosity and financial commitment to your Church community. Please know that the Vestry has designated Sunday, November 15th as Stewardship Sunday 2020. Click on 2021 Pledge Card to print your copy or if you need, phone or email the Church Office and we will be happy to send a printed in postal mail.
On Stewardship Sunday, plan on dropping your completed pledge during the hours of Holy Communion Pickup or you may send it in U.S. Postal Mail or email it directly to the Church Office.
Your contribution and monetary support are needed to ensure that Christ Episcopal Church Dallas continues in 2021- being transformed by serving the Risen Christ in and through our community.

Sepa que la Junta Parroquial (Vestry) ha designado el Domingo, 15 de Noviembre como Domingo de Mayordomía 2020. Haga clique al Tarjeta de Promesa 2021 para imprimirla. Para quienes quieran recibir la tarjeta por correo postal, es posible enviar un correo electrónico solicitándolo o dejar un mensaje en el teléfono de la Oficina de la Iglesia.
Ese Domingo de Mayordomía puede completar y dejar su Tarjeta de Promesa durante las horas disponibles de Distribución de la Santa Comunión o tambien puede recoger y llenar una tarjeta o puede enviarla en correo postal o en correo electrónico a la Oficina de la Iglesia.

Our Children's Ministry Director, Guelda Gutierrez and Catechists Delfina Castillo and Rosa Ponce invite all children to join in reading the Psalm and Holy Gospel each week.
