Christ Church welcomes our new bishop -elect, the Rev. Canon Sally Johnson French. The Rev. Canon French was elected on Saturday January 28 at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Trenton.

Our parish deputies for the election, pictured to the left, joined Father Justin in the election. Our deputies were John Austin, Barbara Keowen and Jeff Hight. We look forward to working with our new Bishop who will be consecrated in June. We offer our thanks and gratitude to Bishop Stokes for his leadership and pastoral care over the past 10 years!

Annual Meeting Elects and Re-elects parish leaders

  • At our Annual Parish Meeting on Sunday, January 29, we elected a new warden, Chuck Kane, pictured left, to serve as co-warden with Ed Zipf. Also newly elected to vestry is Nancy Austin, to complete an unexpired term. Re-elected to vestry are Emmy Todd and Jozsef deKovacs.
  • We thank Cherry Biacan for her serving two consecutive terms as co-warden, she will continue to serve on the Finance Committee. Also, we thank Marian Heacock who served many years on vestry but had to step down due to moving to northern New Jersey.
May God bless our Wardens and Vestry Members and their leadership!
