News And Events At Christ Episcopal Church - Somers Point, New Jersey
October 24, 2020
Dear Parishioner and Friends,

It is my continued prayer that God's peace and safety remain with you and your loved ones. The wardens, vestry and I remain committed to the ministry, care, and growth of the parish as we respond to the signs of the times. I meet regularly with our Wardens Ed Zipf and Cherry Biacan (pictured on right) for prayer, discussion and plans for the present and future.

We celebrate our new camera is now in working order and will be in use for the Sunday Service! Our Sound system has been updated and improved! These accomplishments will allow quality participation from live-stream at home for those where in-person worship and participation is not possible.

Beginning in the Advent Season we will be offering an additional Mass on Wednesdays at 10:30am in the church (both in-person and live-stream). We plan to continue to resume a midweek Eucharist from that point forward. The same rules with distancing and cleaning in the church will apply on Wednesdays as it does for the Sunday Eucharist.

The Stewardship Committee mailed over weekend this years' Stewardship Letter, we will be providing the letter online this week as well. The Stewardship Team is working with me and the rest of vestry in planning additional ways for outreach and fellowship in the coming weeks. We will be keeping you posted!

We hope you will be able to join us along with the Guild of All Souls for an All Souls' Mass on Wednesday, November 4, at 10:30am in the church. As always, all in-person Services will be live-streamed. If you would like to have a departed loved one remembered at the All Souls' Mass and throughout the month of November you may do so by clicking this link from our website:

May the love of Christ remain with you,

Father Justin
