Bishop Stokes announces plans for retirement and election of a new Bishop
Dear Parishioners,

Our bishop announced plans to retire earlier this month. We are sad to hear the news, as we all have benefitted from Bishop Stokes leadership and spiritual guidance! Both the bishop and his wife Susan will be in our prayers as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

We are directed , as a parish, to participate in the process of electing a new bishop. On September 26 after the 10am Mass, we will hold a special election in the church for six deputies to represent our parish at a diocesan meeting to serve on the discernment committee for a new bishop.

Parishioners interested in representing our parish in discerning the call of a new bishop, kindly, let me know at or leave a message at the parish office 609-927-6262.
