May 5, 2023
We are blessed to have an active Sunday School and Youth Group at Christ Church! Many thanks to Diane McKeffery, Pat Matthis, and Laura Napoli for their talents and time in leading our Sunday School program. Our curriculum is an Episcopal guide from Virginia Theological Seminary.

Our Youth Group meets every Sunday in the chapel on the Meyran Ave. side of the church, it is led by Bill Snyder and Carolyn Lamountain. Under their direction the youth share their faith and discuss living it in their lives.

Also, most of our youth participate as acolytes every Sunday at the altar! Thanks to Charlene Snyder for her ministry in teaching and scheduling the acolytes!

Outreach to Atlantic Cape Community College. On Tuesday, April 25, Father Justin set up a hospitality table at ACCC for students with information about the Episcopal Church and our parish. We are working to become more visible with the young adults in our community!

Community Outreach!

Our Guest Preacher on Trinity Sunday, June 4: Sr. Patty, director of Adelaide's Place in Atlantic City!

We have a long history at Christ Church working with Adelaide's Place, a day shelter for women in Atlantic City. This past Christmas all members of our parish participated in giving bears to the women with operation bear hug and we provided gifts from our giving tree.

To strengthen our connection with Adelaide's Place Sr. Patty will visit our parish and speak to us of ways to continue to minister to our sisters in need.
Coffee Hour Info!

As we continue to enjoy coffee hour fellowship after the 10am Mass we have some update with volunteering. In the church the first two Sundays of the month anyone is open to volunteer to sponsor the coffee hour.

The third Sunday will be a pot luck coffee hour where everyone is invited to bring something.

The fourth Sunday the Parish Brotherhood of Saint Andrew will provide for the coffee hour.

When we have a fifth Sunday, it will be open to a volunteer to sponsor it.

Thank you!
