Christ Church Food Pantry

A big THANK YOU! to all the pantry volunteers! At the March Food Pantry, we were blessed with beautiful weather, allowing us to operate a typical Food Pantry. We served 421 clients, including 60 new clients! Clients were offered a variety of items, including chicken, hamburger, hot dogs, sausage, salmon, tuna fish, milk, cereal, and canned goods, as well as extras like toilet paper, pet food, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. The clients are always grateful, and volunteers have a good time! Please contact Brian Shelburne bshelburne@wittenberg.edu

Kelly Zeller zellerk0611@gmail.com or Anne Randolph annejrand@aol.com to volunteer.

Empty Bowls

The Annual Wittenberg University Empty Bowls is Thursday, March 27th from 4:30–6:30 PM (Central Dining Room, Student Center of the Wittenberg Campus). Bowls are $20, which includes a humble meal of soup and bread. The goal is to raise $50,000 this year. All proceeds go to the Second Harvest Food Bank. For more information, contact Scott Dooley (937-327-6327 or sdooley@wittenberg.edu).

Join us for our Spring Walk!

Spring is springing. Join the people of Christ Church for an opportunity to wonder at God's creation on Saturday, April 5. We will meet at the Christ Church parking lot on Saturday at 10, and carpool to the Cedar Bog. Afterwards, we will enjoy brunch at a local restaurant, and should return by 2. The Cedar Bog has an extensive boardwalk, making this an ideal nature experience for everyone, including infants in strollers. Hope to see you there!

Wishing You a Blessed Week!
