Marian Heacock and Diane McKeefery would like to thank our parishioners who have donated to the coat drive.  We are still collecting winter coats, as well as, hats, scarfs, and gloves.  Just a reminder that we are only collecting coats and their accessories.  You can drop these items off in the red bin in the church narthex or in the Parish hall.  If you need a coat, or know of an individual or organization that might need one, please feel free to take them from the coat rack in the Parish Hall.

                                            Get to know your Parishioners

I met Norman Mayall after an eight o'clock service.  Some parishioners might remember Norman as he was a neighbor to Christ Church and a long time member.  He now lives in Pennsylvania and has become a visitor. His daughter was married in Christ's Church, and always felt comfortable as part of the congregation.  He is semi-retired and has had a varied career throughout his life.  His passion, which keeps him busy, is helping to create local business opportunities.  Thanks for chatting with me and hope to see you again at 8 o'clock.

After a 10 o'clock service, during coffee hour, I met a young man named Derek Barnabie.  He is a 2nd year parishioner.  When asked why he likes Christ Church, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he likes the tradition, ritual, choir, and our style of church.  He is a sophomore at ACIT, or Atlantic County Institute of Technology.  One of his prouder moments, which he beamed when talking about it, was becoming an Eagle Scout in June, 2018.  He likes to play sports and play video games with his friends.  Derek is a fine young man and has a bright future before him.  Congratulations on your accomplishment of becoming an Eagle Scout!
