Quiet Day at Christ Church: August 17
What is a Quiet Day? 

A Quiet Day is a time for individuals to reflect on their spiritual lives in relationship to God.  The day is a mini retreat for thoughtfulness, self-reflection, and strengthening one's commitment as a Christian and disciple of Jesus.  

Father Justin will lead the day as a follow-up to his invitation on Pentecost Sunday, to write and share your spiritual/prayer practices.  

The Day and Time

Saturday, August 17 at Christ Church
from 10:30am to 5:30pm

T he Schedule of the Day

10:30am, Morning Prayer in the Saint Christopher Memorial Garden

11am, Reflection on Scripture Passages with time for private reflection and group discussion

12noon, Noonday Prayer in the Chapel followed by lunch, which will be provided 

2pm, Meditation exercise on God's Call for you: individuals may take time on their own in the chapel, church, memorial garden, parish living room, church grounds. 

4pm, group discussion: Discipleship Journey

5:30pm Holy Eucharist

* Note that participants can participate in the whole day or parts of it, as this is directed toward the individual and not an entire group unit.
