Get to know your Parish Family

This week I interviewed 2 of the "8 o'clockers".  Dale Lonkart and Sally Ringe both started coming to Christ Church after Epiphany closed.  Both said it was like coming home.  Very familiar and comfortable.  Dale is one of our Eucharistic Ministers.  She retired at an early age, opting to be a stay at home, homemaker.  Presently, she is very active in the Atlantic City Historical Society.  She is a librarian and helps with research projects.  One of the projects the Society is involved with is interviewing veterans whose information is sent to the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.  She just had her 60th class reunion in which 119 people attended.  She is a key player in keeping the class together through e-mail.
Sally is now retired, but was an intensive care nurse in Philly.  Now she goes back periodically to the nursery to cuddle babies.  She loves to travel and frequently visits the west coast of Puerto Rico, California and has been to Scandinavia.  Yoga is one of her passions, which she practices 5 times a week.  Thanks for the interview ladies!
