Best of the Press!
We are happy to announce that our parish made second place for best place of worship in the Atlantic City Press online poll.  Out of the time winners, we were the only Mainline Protestant Denomination to be selected.  The others chosen were either Roman Catholic or Evangelical.

Wine Tasting at Christ Church: October 25!

Quiet Days at Christ Church
Our first Quiet Day, led by Father Justin, at Christ Church was a success!  Our August 17 retreat had 19 participants and we focused on Christian Discipleship and our personal spiritual life.  The next Quiet Day is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, for the Advent Season.  We hope you will be able to participate and bring a friend!

The Four Chaplains Memorial Ceremony
On Wednesday, August 14, Father Justin gave the benediction at the Four Chaplains Memorial Foundation Ceremony at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point.  The ceremony serves the memory of the four chaplains who heroically died to save other during World War II on the Dorchester Ship.  Two chaplains were Protestants, one a Roman Catholic, and the other Jewish.  The event is sponsored by the American Legion.  For more information you may see this ink https://www.legion.org/belovedveterans/220498/four-chaplains

Stewardship Committee
Fall is around the corner and Christ Church will be holding some special events.  The Stewardship committee will be hosting another "Trivia Night" on Saturday, September 28th from 7-9 p.m.  All parishioners and friends may participate with a team of 2-4 people.  Bring your own drinks and snacks.
We will also be hosting a "Meet & Greet" on Wednesday, October 9th from 6-8 p.m.  This is an open house, so please attend at a time that is convenient for you.  There will be light refreshments served. This is a good way to get to know and socialize with new parishioners and established parishioners.  Come relax and enjoy some good conversation!
October 25th is our annual wine tasting.  Details will be forthcoming.
Every Sunday in November is going to be dedicated to bringing a friend to church.  We would love for you to bring a friend, relative, teacher, someone special, etc. to show off our beautiful church, welcoming parishioners, and Father Justin, all of which is why we all attend Christ Church.
Any questions about these events, you can contact Diane McKeefery at dimcky@ymail.com.
