Dear Family and Friends,

Your pastors and officers and staff members have been praying for you this week. We want you to know that we will not allow social distancing to become disengagement. Your shepherds want to hear from you. We want to include your specific prayer requests and praise reports to our prayer list. We want to know about challenges you may have as businesses struggle with closings. We want to know if your circumstances have made it hard to get medicines or groceries. Your calls and texts are always welcome, especially while our face to face conversations are restricted.

Last Sunday we were blessed to have more than 700 households together by way of digital devices for morning worship. We are grateful to God for the ability to pray and preach and praise our God in this way.

If you had trouble linking in last week you will be happy to know that our team has worked hard this week to expand and streamline the process. Please join us this Sunday at 10:45 am and 6:00 pm. Our morning and evening sermons for this Sunday and next Sunday will be from Ephesians 6:10-18. Paul and the believers in Ephesus may not have known anything about COVID-19, but they knew that God could be trusted to bring them through anything. We can have that same trust now.

Thank you for your faithful giving this month. Our ministries continue, and our staff is at work so that when it is time to be together again, we will be ready.

Pray for your church, pray for one another and pray for our love for our neighbors to grow as we find our way through this unexpected test.

For Christ,

Kevin DeYoung, Senior Pastor
Sandy Spitz, Senior Director of Church Administration
