We do not have a volunteer to purchase flowers. If you sign up, you MUST provide your own flowers. They should be at the church before the 8:00 AM service. Flowers my be taken home after the 10:30 AM service.

Church Constitution

November 1, 2004, with the approval of the church constitution Christ our Savior Lutheran Church became a member congregation of the Kansas District LCMS. The congregation has been operating under this original constitution since 2004. Over the past year the church Elders have been reviewing and rewriting our constitution. On May 18 there will be a special voter’s meeting to approve the new constitution. Copies of the new constitution will be available in the entranceway of the church. There is also a copy linked to this newsletter. The updated constitution has some changes to our voter’s assembly guidelines. There are also changes made to follow guidelines set up by the district constitution committee. All of these changes are minimal but they will keep congregation business flowing smoothly for a number of years.

Easter Celebration

Thank you to everyone who participated in any way in the celebration of Easter. The weather may have changed our plans but we were still able to celebrate that Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed, hallelujah!

SHOWER BASKET

Ashley and Shey Spears are expecting their first child - a girl - the end of May. If you would like to share a gift with them a basket will be in the entry hall until the end of May.

CONFIRMATION May 4th, 2025

This year confirmation will be held on Sunday, May 4th. Questioning will be Friday, May 2nd. The congregation is encouraged to attend the questioning.

This year's confirmands: Marian Allen, Ava Green, Hailey Marsh, Alaina Roth, Reagan Varns, and Jacob Weber.

Women's Bible Study

Women's Bible Study meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. 6:30pm to 7:30 pm in the church basement. We would love to grow this group! We are studying "Living a Life of Worship" by Sara Young. Contact Janet Hibbard at 913.238.2729
