R.E.A.D.Y Youth Curriculum from Global Ministries

The vision for this curriculum is to enable youth of all ages to reimagine and redefine their understanding of God’s mission. Life is full of crossroads where we must make decisions on how we will engage the world and, most especially, those who are different from us. During this quest, our hope is to challenge participants to broaden their view of their role in the church, community, and world.

Included in this curriculum is a wellspring of information and resources selected to aid you as you journey with your youth. In the four sessions, youth are asked to unpack their prejudices, both conscious and unconscious. They will also be equipped with tools to help them constantly evaluate their world and God’s mission. Service Opportunity

Church World Service

Church World Service delivers blankets, school kits, hygiene kits and more around the country and the world to support those in need. CWS always wants to provide people assistance with dignity. It’s very easy to learn how your children/youth/adults can participate in a short-term project when you watch this video and in less than a minute learn How to Assemble CWS Hygiene Kits. Would you like to organize a Crop Hunger Walk in your community?

Eden Center for Lived Faith and Organizing is offering Faith Organizing and Theories of Social Change on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 9:00AM-2:00PM (CST) Hyflex: Online and In-Person at Eden Theological Seminary. The Center exists to educate, train and connect communities with local and regional partners for long-term and sustainable ministry in organizing and justice work.
