Christian Education at
Grace Episcopal Church

Classes for Adults, Youth and Children will resume on September 8

Christianity and Culture , Parish Hall, 9:15
September 8 The Call Committee will report on their work thus far. This will not be a meeting to announce the calling of a new minister.

Starting September 15 - The Work of Christ, the Parish, and You
Last winter we looked at the role of the priest within the wider context of the Church's ministry as the Body of Christ.  This fall, we'll explore-within the same context-the role of the parish and the parishioner...that is, YOU!  As before, this will arise from an understanding shaped by the Books of Common Prayer, catechisms, official statements, and writings of leaders of the Anglican Communion of which we are a part.

September 15 The Ministry of the Parish - how a congregation
embodies and enacts the work of Christ as part of the priesthood of all believers - David Cox.
September 23 The Priesthood of Each Believer - how individual Christians share personally in the wider ministry of the Church - David Cox.
Youth (6 th - 12 th grade), Canterbury Room, 9:30
Building on last year's confirmation class the youth will continue to
explore their faith and ask questions about the Bible, the Apostles' Creed, disciples, Jesus, and explore world religions.
Holly Picket t and Mary Price will lead the class.
All Youth, 6th to 12th grade are welcome!
