BRANDON LAKE

"How Good God Is"

(Brandon Lake's new single, "How Good God Is" has risen all the way to #3 to enter this week's CCM charts)

<<Grammy Award-winning Christian recording artist Brandon Lake has turned life’s deepest trials into a new anthem of resilience. Following months of anticipation from his fans, Lake officially released his soul-stirring single, "How Good God Is", a track that challenges listeners to look at adversity through a entirely different lens.

<<For Brandon, known globally for his massive hit "Gratitude", the inspiration for the track came directly from navigating his own personal valleys, storms, and tests.

<<Reflecting on the heart behind the music, Lake shared that God has consistently proven to be good through every trial, using difficult seasons to teach and refine him.

<<Brandon shared that "How Good God Is" was inspired by navigating personal valleys and trials, noting, "If God has been anything to me in this life, it's been 'GOOD.'"

<<He explained that the song aims to offer a perspective shift during difficult storms, stating, "I hope this is more than an enjoyable song. I hope it's a weapon." He also encouraged listeners going through hardships by sharing that what feels like breaking them is actually building a deeper faith.

<<A Purpose Found in Brokenness - The acoustic and country-leaning ballad departs from purely celebratory worship tracks to thank God for raw experiences, featuring poignant lines like thanking Him for anger that drives prayer and silence that teaches patience. Brandon noted that navigating isolation and refining seasons builds an authentic, fire-strengthened faith that ultimately supports others.

PHIL WICKHAM "Everyday Hallelujah"

(Phil Wickham's new book, “Everyday Hallelujah: Unlocking Deep Joy Through Everyday Acts of Worship," entered this month's ECPA Christian Books Bestseller's List at #3)

<<For decades, Dove and Grammy winning artist Phil Wickham has led millions of people into praise from the stage. In fact, he currently has the #1 CCM song, a duet with Crowder, "It Truly Is Amazing Grace."

<<And, Phil will be in concert locally in a few weeks at Gas South Arena in Duluth on October 6 with Chandler Moore and Jamie MacDonald.

<<Following the release of his debut book, "Everyday Hallelujah: Unlocking Deep Joy Through Everyday Acts of Worship', the "Hymn of Heaven" singer is challenging believers to take worship outside the sanctuary walls.

<<Phil shared that the intensive writing process fundamentally shifted his own spiritual walk. "I'm excited about this book; it changed my life writing it. It lifted my heart towards heaven, it filled my soul with more praise, and it deepened my relationship with Jesus."

<<The core thesis bridges the gap between musical performance and daily discipline. For Wickham, the concept relies on the understanding that praise requires active living rather than simple vocalization.

<<"I believe that most hallelujahs aren't sung, they're lived. It's in the little, everyday moments where I believe God can move in incredible ways, and where we have the opportunity to bring Him our praise."

<<The singer admitted that a book allowed him to explore faith avenues that a standard three-minute radio single simply cannot contain. He designed the chapters as a scriptural journey tracking biblical figures like Daniel, Elijah, and Paul to see how their daily acts shaped their intimacy with God.

<<"The realization that worship is expressed through daily living inspired me to write this book as an encouragement to recognize God's presence in daily life and understand that worship is a lived experience, not just something sung."

<<Despite his extensive catalog of modern worship anthems, Phil shared a personal vulnerability he uncovered while compiling his manuscript. He noted that, even after 20 of ministry, he occasionally falls victim to a performance-driven mindset.

<<"Instead of thinking 'what do I need to do for God to live out every hallelujah,' it flows out of being with God. I found that so true in my life because I can be such a doer.'"

<<He warned that such lines of thinking trap believers in a "merit-based relationship with God" where individuals feel pressured to pray or perform enough before earning divine approval. Ultimately, he noted, Scripture brought him right back to grace.

<<"God delights in our presence and attention. Let everything I do in life, no matter what, be a hallelujah. That means my victories will be a hallelujah. My struggles will be a hallelujah."
