Christie Clinic Welcomes Dr. Radden


Christie Clinic welcomes Genene Radden, MD, to the Department of Rheumatology. As a physician in the Department of Rheumatology with more than 10 years of experience, Dr. Radden specializes in conventional and integrative solutions for inflammation of the joints, muscles, and bones.

Dr. Radden received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine residency program and a Rheumatology fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center affiliated with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Radden is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Radden is the newest addition to Christie Clinic's Department of Rheumatology which now features four accomplished rheumatologists. Christie Clinic Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery Expands Services  

Christie Clinic is pleased to announce the opening of the Barefoot Medical Spa located in the Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery at 1801 West Windsor Road in Champaign.

Services will be performed by Certified Medical Nail Technician, Amber Borchers. Amber has had extensive training in spa services related to the feet, and is able to recognize potential nail and skin concerns that may require a visit with a Foot and Ankle surgeon.
Available services include waterless medical grade pedicures, callus reduction, cuticle care, nail shaping and trimming, and polish application. All services are performed with autoclaved or disposable tools to ensure no transmission of bacteria occurs.

Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery physician, Dr. Andrew Kluesner says, "Over the years I have been asked by patients where to go to get a pedicure that is safe. To address this need our department is pleased to introduce the Christie Clinic Barefoot Medical Spa to our patients and the community. We practice the same sterilization techniques that we use for surgical procedures, and our priority is to maintain a clean, private environment, and prevent the spread of germs, fungus and diseases."

The focus of the Christie Clinic Barefoot Medical Spa is on the quality of treatment and includes a number of methods to provide spa like services that are safe and sterile for all patients, including diabetics.

Sports Medicine Services Available in Danville

Dr. Scott Paluska from the Department of Sports Medicine will be a visiting specialist at Christie Clinic in Danville on Logan located at 800 North Logan. He will remain practicing at Christie Clinic on Fox Drive.

In the Department of Sports Medicine, Dr. Paluska provides care to patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system including fractures, and injuries of the bones, muscles, joints, and tendons. His special interests include sports injuries, shoulder, elbow and knee disorders.
